Making a list
Do you have any idea how easy you are to buy for?Everywhere I go, I can find something that I look at and say "oh, I could get that for her", or "she'd probably like that" or even a "wonder if she'd like that?". So easy-peasy! Heck, I've got a list a mile long of stuff to get you, and every time I see something new, I just add it on the end to make sure I remember it.
So then I come down to Christmas, and what to get you. Not an easy pick. See, if we were opening under the same tree, I'd just end up geting you everything (or most everything) and it'd be done. You'd have an orgy of unwrapping to do do and hopefully like at least half of what you'd get. But that's not really a starter for us right now. I'm sure you'd enthusiastically say "yes, buy me everything" but if I were, I'm sure that those we live with would have some arched eyebrows over the volume.
So in the end I keep my list (and yes, it's hidden), and keep adding on for future birthdays and Christmases and for "someday". That said, I have decided what to get you for Christmas this year. At least I'm pretty darn sure. I hope you like it. And I hope I can suprise you. You're not that easy to surprise, I have to tell you, that whole shared brain thing and all...
