This is October?
Dear God!It's not october out there...it's frickin' July! I mean seriously, when was the last time, in a northern climate like this you could comfortably wear shorts outside in the evening? Sure I went to school with guys who insisted on wearing shorts year 'round, but they were freaks and it was high school, when everyone was trying to be different. Thank goodness they all did it together.
But I digress.
I'm looking at daytime highs of almost 30° and they're still using the humidex on the weather channel. When do you normally need a humidex in October? I'm used to it snowing before Halloween.
Yes, I realize it sounds like I'm complaining. And I guess in a way I am. I like warm, but not this warm. I'd be happy with 23, 24 maybe even 25° but this is just too warm. I know, it'll be snowy and minus a bazillion soon, so I should enjoy it while I can, but I can't, you see because it hurts me with migraines, and it's killing poor E. So much as I prefer to be warm than to be cold, I'd still prefer it to be cooler than warmer, if that makes any sense at all.
I now return you to our normal one track mind...
