Oily!
Well, I've completed my first ever do it yourself oil change....and it went remarkably well!Okay, I've got one small drip from the oil tank plug, but I'm sure I can take care of that no problems. I even changed the oil filter and it doesn't leak at all! I screwed up and did something right!
I even took the car out for a test drive ot make sure it was working...and it made it out and back in one piece. A (age 4) was a big help too...holding the flashlight, finding the tools needed, trying to help unscrew the cap plug, handing me bottles of oil...it was really cute...and he was so proud of himself too for all the help he gave.
And best of all, at the end of the process, I'm not even that dirty! What dirt there was, was only from the elbows down too...
Maybe this mechanical stuff isn't so bad to do after all. Either that or I'm due for a severe and tragic breakdown in my future....
