Snow news is good news?

Well, after yet another massive snow dumping here, we're finally cleared out. It's basically snowed since mid-afternoon friday through sunday morning. The plow finally showed up at 3:30 and cleared out the driveway, and here are the totals.

Against the garage: 17"
Midway down the driveway: 29"
Where the city plow had blocked in the end of the driveway: 40"
Drifted in on the path from the driveway to the front door: 36"

I can't see my neighbour's house. I can't see my other neighbour's cedar hedge. I can barely see the tree on my front lawn. In the back, the swingset has the seats covered, just chains coming out of the snow. My neighbour's fence is gone, totally covered, posts and all. As is his deck. It's just a big puffy marshmallow, a slightly larger bump in the snow.

I hear that they report now is that we've had 410.7 cm so far this winter. Another 34 cm to go and we'll beat the all time record. It's early march, I'm sure we'll get there. Heck, they're calling for more snow wednesday...
